At the 11th International Conference on Marine Technology – Winkler 2025, held November 20-21 at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Rijeka, Igor Kvasić delivered a plenary presentation titled “CoE MARBLE – Centre of Excellence in Maritime Robotics and Technologies for Sustainable Blue Economy.”
His talk was part of the main Plenary Session chaired by Prof. Albert Zamarin, alongside invited speakers from AITAC Group, Multi Engineering Group and TSI, highlighting current trends in shipbuilding, floating wind and maritime innovation.
CoE MARBLE’s keynote introduced the centre’s mission, vision and role in advancing maritime robotics, digital twins and sustainable blue-economy technologies, positioning Croatia within the wider European research landscape.
The conference gathered leading experts from academia and industry across the region, covering themes such as autonomous vessels, environmental protection, shipbuilding technologies and digitalisation.
