The international symposium “Centers of Excellence: Sources of Innovation, Technology Transfer, and Cooperation with Industry,” held on Monday, March 16, 2026, at the Mediterranean Institute for Life Sciences (MedILS) in Split, brought together over 200 participants. The event saw a global reach, with many attendees joining online from various parts of the world, including Africa, the USA, and Europe.
Organized by the Scientific Center of Excellence STIM at the University of Split (STIM-REI 2.0 project), this one-day event gathered experts who actively contribute to research results aimed at developing innovations, new technologies, and international market expansion. Prof. dr. sc. Nikola Mišković, Director of CoE MARBLE, spoke as one of the key experts on the role of maritime robotics in driving regional innovation.
