BLUE-SHIELD focuses on developing technologies for the protection of marine ecosystems and sustainable management of coastal areas, through next-generation passive acoustic monitoring and secure underwater communications. 

 

Through cooperation with MARBLE (Croatia), core system components will be implemented and tested at advanced pilot sites, supported by hands-on knowledge exchange and access to specialised research infrastructure. The validated solutions will then be demonstrated in Montenegrin waters, strengthening regional capacity for secure and evidence-based maritime monitoring.
