On 9 December 2025, the Martinska Research Station (Division for Marine and Environmental Research, Ruđer Bošković Institute) celebrated its 45th anniversary with a full-day scientific symposium in the beautiful “Civitas Sacra” Interpretation Centre of St James Cathedral in Šibenik.
MARBLE was proudly represented in the morning session by our Head of Infrastructure, Nadir Kapetanović, who delivered the presentation about the Centre, introducing the centre’s vision, infrastructure, current projects and future plans in marine robotics and autonomous systems.
This significant milestone was an opportunity to jointly celebrate past achievements, present ongoing projects, and strengthen collaboration among scientists dedicated to the research of the Adriatic Sea.
The anniversary program included a retrospective of past research, presentations by participants on current projects in the field of marine science, and an informal networking.
