We are proud to announce that our project partner, Mr. Neven Cukrov, Senior Scientist at the Ruđer Bošković Institute (RBI), has been officially nominated to the United Nations Group of Experts.
This prestigious appointment places Mr. Cukrov within a specialized body responsible for the Global Reporting and Assessment of the State of the Marine Environment (2026–2030). Representing the Eastern European Group, he will play a critical role in overseeing the next World Ocean Assessment, with a focus on strengthening science-based decision-making for our oceans.
