MARBLE participated in the 5th International Conference on Robotics – MIPRO Robotics 2026: Robotics Technologies and Applications (RTA), held from 9 to 12 September 2026 at the University of Zadar. The event brought together more than 100 participants from around 20 countries, including researchers and experts in robotics, mechatronics, autonomous systems and artificial intelligence.
A highlight of the event was the Robot-Drone Demo Convoy, held on 12 September along the route from Zadar to Kukljica. Before departure, MARBLE was presented by our Director Prof. Nikola Mišković at the Uskok Sailing Cluband, the robotic platforms involved in the demonstration were presented in Kukljica. These included an unmanned surface vehicle (USV), an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), an underwater vehicle, as well as the supporting communication, sensing, control and safety systems.
MARBLE’s participation in MIPRO Robotics 2026 provided an opportunity to showcase the research and technological capabilities being developed within the Centre of Excellence and to strengthen connections with the wider research, academic and professional community working in marine robotics and autonomous systems.
