Holiday party lit up CoE MARBLE HQ – it was a night of festivities, friends, and fun!

Our colleague, Barbara Arbanas Ferreira, has been honored with the Award for Exceptional Engineering Contribution by the IEEE Croatia Section for 2025.

The Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute (CMMI), CoE MARBLE and INESCTEC.OCEAN – Centre of Excellence in Ocean Research and Engineering, leading research and innovation centres for the blue economy, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the sidelines of the 17th International Interdisciplinary Field Workshop of Maritime Robotics and Applications, ‘Breaking the Surface’ 2025.

During the MEETING G2.11 Croatia (October 17-18, 2025), an inspiring event connecting innovators and the Croatian diaspora that took place in Novska, at PISMO powered by A1, our Barbara Arbanas Ferreira joined the panel “Dronovi i roboti – i na nebu i na zemlji”.

MARBLE Head of Engineering and Research Infrastructure Nadir Kapetanović and researcher Igor Kvasić participated in one of the events of the three-day Yacht Design Forum organized by Tecnoservizi SRL that took place September 25-27, 2025.

On September 23, 2025, our Acting Head of Research Department Barbara Arbanas Ferreira co-organized MARBLE workshop “AI-Enabled Robotic Solutions for Critical Maritime Infrastructure: Inspection, Maintenance, and Security” at AI, Data, Robotics Forum (ADRF 2025) in Stavanger, Norway.

Asst. Prof. Đula Nađ participated in the 16th IFAC Conference on Control Applications in Marine Systems, Robotics and Vehicles (CAMS 2025), held in Wuhan, China, from August 25–28, 2025.

MARBLE project team just concluded a successful 2nd project meeting at the European Workshop on EU-funded Marine Robotics and Applications (EMRA 2025) in Trondheim, Norway. The meeting took place in the premises of the project partner NTNU on June 3, 2025…

The CoE MARBLE is pleased to host postdoctoral candidates interested in applying for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship (MSCA-PF) in 2025 at our Centre of Excellence.
