MARBLE participated in the Blue Bridges: Cyprus–Croatia Business and Innovation Forum & B2B Meetings, held on 25 September 2026 in Limassol, Cyprus.

MARBLE, UNIZG-FER Laboratory of Underwater Systems and Technologies (LABUST), and IEEE OES University of Zagreb Student Branch Chapter organized a lecture “From Tactile Internet-Enabled Mobile Networks to a Self-Sustainable Smart Ocean” held by Amin Ebrahimzadeh, our Senior Researcher on September 22, at 2 p.m. at the Grey Hall, UNIZG-FER.

MARBLE is proud to announce that on 2nd September, during the IEEE OES Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV) Symposium, Assistant Professor Fausto Ferreira, our Acting Head of Research Support Office , was given the 2026 Mid-Career Rising Star Award.

On June 24, 2026, MARBLE project partners concluded a successful 5th project meeting at the venue of EMRA 2026 that took place June 22-24 in Lisbon, Portugal.

MARBLE attended the IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) 2026, June 1-5, held in Vienna, Austria. As the flagship conference of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, ICRA is widely recognized as one of the world’s premier robotics events.

European Maritime Day events in Cyprus on May 21-22, 2026, brought together stakeholders from across the blue economy, including researchers, industry representatives, policymakers, innovators, public authorities, and the wider ocean community to exchange ideas and strengthen collaboration around the future of Europe’s seas and oceans.
