MARBLE project team just concluded a successful 2nd project meeting at the European Workshop on EU-funded Marine Robotics and Applications (EMRA 2025) in Trondheim, Norway. The meeting took place in the premises of the project partner NTNU on June 3, 2025, and gathered all the MARBLE partners to revise finalised actvities and plan for the future period. The partners used this opportunity to focus on aligning goals, sharing cutting-edge insights, and strengthening partnerships to drive advancements in maritime robotics.

The following two days, June 4 and 5, MARBLE partners attended EMRA 2025. The workshop was hosted by NTNU at the Rockheim Museum in Trondheim. This year’s EMRA workshop brought together leading experts, researchers, industry representatives, and end-users in the field of maritime robotics and intelligent systems. The two-day program featured over 20 speakers from various European countries who presented the latest research results and technology applications within EU projects. Special emphasis was placed on collaboration with students and researchers from the Erasmus Mundus Marine and Maritime Intelligent Robotics (MIR) program, further highlighting the importance of education, innovation, and interdisciplinary cooperation.
