From April 2–4, 2025, the Croatian Chamber of Economy hosted the 15th International Aquaculture Conference at the Hotel Lav Congress Center in Vukovar, bringing together business leaders, scientists, policymakers, and stakeholders from Croatia, the EU, and neighboring countries. The event, held under the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Green Transition, Vukovar-Srijem County, and the City of Vukovar, fostered dialogue and collaboration to address challenges and advance the aquaculture sector.
During the conference, Nadir Kapetanović showcased CoE MARBLE’s cutting-edge research and specialized equipment that could support sustainable development and innovation in the aquaculture industry, contributing to strategic, technological, and scientific advancements.
The conference, organized in collaboration with leading academic institutions such as the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Zagreb, the Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences Osijek, and others, provided a platform for MARBLE to engage with key stakeholders, share insights, and explore synergies to drive the future of aquaculture in Croatia and beyond.
