On 8–9 October 2026, the Centre of Excellence MARBLE welcomed representatives of the European Commission and external reviewers to Šibenik, Croatia, for the Horizon Europe MARBLE project review meeting.
The two-day meeting provided an opportunity to present the project’s progress, key achievements, and future plans, highlighting the important steps taken towards establishing MARBLE as a leading centre of excellence in maritime robotics and technologies.
A particular highlight of the visit was the opportunity to showcase MARBLE’s research and innovation activities through visits to the MARBLE pilot sites, including the MARBLE Sea Lab in Martinska and the Smart Mussel Farm. These visits offered firsthand insight into the project’s research infrastructure, technological developments, and practical applications in real-world marine environments.
The successful review meeting marked another important milestone in the project’s implementation, reinforcing the commitment of all partners to advancing maritime robotics, fostering innovation, and strengthening collaboration between research and industry.
MARBLE extends its sincere appreciation to the Project Officers, external reviewers, and all project partners for their participation, valuable contributions, and continued support.
