Thesis projects, internships, and student placements at MARBLE, supervised by the researchers and engineers who build and deploy our maritime robotics.

001 / Why students work here For students

Student work at MARBLE is real work on real systems.

You join a topic that a mentor is already responsible for, with hardware in the water, deadlines that come from projects, and results that have to hold up outside the lab.

Placements run at our Zagreb headquarters, in our research labs, and at the Adriatic pilot sites. Some topics can be partly remote, each topic page says which.

Most students arrive for a thesis, a summer internship, or project work, and leave with something that shipped, was deployed, or was published.

003 / How it works

From topic to placement.

No deadlines to miss. Applications are reviewed as they arrive, and mentors decide together with us.

Step 01
Find a topic

Read the open topics and see which mentor supervises them. Pick one, or tell us what you would rather work on.

Step 02
Apply

Submit the form with your CV and proof of student status. It takes about ten minutes.

Step 03
Talk to a mentor

We review on a rolling basis. If there is a fit, the mentor contacts you for a conversation.

Step 04
Start the work

Thesis, internship, or project work at headquarters, in the labs, or at a pilot site.

005 / Life here

What the year looks like.

Students work alongside the teams at headquarters and go out with them to the pilot sites. The rest of the time looks like this.
